Hello everyone. Looks like Spring officially arrives tomorrow here in the northern hemisphere, so I thought I would welcome it with a cute rainbow floral scene card featuring the Enchanting Poppy Stems die from the 2022 Spring release.
There are two size poppies in this die set. I used the small one to die cut all parts from white alcohol marker-friendly cardstock, then coloured them with Copic Sketch markers. Did the same for the Wild Grass Border used to help ground the poppies, but in hindsight, it would have been quicker to die cut it from the Lush Green paper.
Mixed media paper was trimmed to A2 size (5.5”x4.25”) next, then Cracked Pistachio and Tumbled Glass distress inks were blended on with blender brushes to create the ground and sky, respectively. The Hello Friend Posh Script was die cut from black glossy paper. Assembled the card onto a white card base then added clear shimmer to the poppies for a bit of sparkle to finish.
That does it for my spring rainbow poppy card. Thank you for joining me today. Have a wonderful day.
