Hello everyone. I’m back to colouring die-cuts today, but this time I am focusing on the beautiful Verdant Arch foliage die from the 2022 Spring release.
Started by die cutting the Verdant Arch from alcohol marker-friendly cardstock. Cut them in half then colored with blue Copic Sketch markers (B39, B37, B34 and B32). I was about to color them in their natural green color, but thought colouring them blue would be more fun… plus, it’s my favorite color after all. 😉
The leaves were then arranged and glued onto an A2 size panel cut from Bristol paper. For some texture, splattered with diluted Prize Ribbon distress ink and white gouache paint. Finished with the Miss You posh script sentiment that was die cut from yellow (which looks like gold) Rainbow Reflections Mirror paper and adhered onto its white shadow.
This is a reminder that the Miss You/Thinking of You challenge is open until March 30 11:59 pm EST. Thank you for joining me today. Have a wonderful day.
