Greetings friends. I was in need of a birthday card, so I thought I would break out some of the new mirror paper. Nothing says birthday to me quite like vibrant and shiny cardstock! To make the card, I cut 1/2" strips of mirror paper from the same 6" x 6" paper pack. I like using paper from the same pack because you know the papers will coordinate well with each other.
I placed the strips of paper onto a piece of 5 1/4" x 4" cardstock so that I had two directions of diagonal stripes. For my flower, I cut out a gold flowers using paper from the same paper pack. The floral die comes with three layers, but I chose to only use two. Here is a close up of the flower. I love the detail you get from the dies:
To attach the flower, I glued the bottom layer of petals to the card and popped up the second layer of petals with foam tape for some dimension. I finished by adding a leaf and my birthday greeting.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you aren't too tired after losing an hour, but the extra sunlight is always welcome.

Strikingly beautiful!
