Greetings friends. I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. Today I wanted to share a Valentine that layered two of the Memory Box 3-D embossing folder patterns. I used two different floral patterns so that there would be two different looks and yet still coordinate with each other.
For the background paper, I used the Chrysanthemum Field folder. You can see more of the detail here:
The second patterns was the Blooming folder and looks like this:
I really love the intense detail you can get from these folders. Remember to spritz your paper with water first before running it through the die cut machine in the folder.
After I embossed the blooming paper, I cut out a heart from the paper and layered the one floral design on top of the second.
For the flower, I cut out my design again from white cardstock and then colored the pieces with some PanPastel Chalks for a softer look.
To finish the card, I popped up the heart using some foam tape and added my die cut sentiment.
