Using Up Cardstock Scraps by Laura Fulcher

Greetings friends. I don't know about you, but I had lots of little glitter cardstock scraps after Christmas. I thought it would be a good opportunity to use them for a birthday card. Don't forget your January birthdays! (I may be a bit biased since I have one).

To make the card, I took my scraps from the Graceful Garden glitter paper pack. I trimmed some of them so that they would either be 1/4" or 1/2" in size. I like the variety of widths for the stripes. I glued the strips onto a piece of cardstock that measured 8 1/4" x 3 1/4" in size. Gluing them to another piece of paper allowed me to line up the strips and then adhere them to my card.

To finish the card, I cut out my message from alphabet dies. Here is a close up:

Thanks so much for visiting today!
