Good morning everyone! Today's card mixes some old and new products. I felt like coloring, so I used an older stamp set and colored pencils.

I watched a Gina K Designs video on Monday night, and she demonstrated a partial die cutting technique which inspired me to try.

I stamped the floral image on the front of a white top folding card base and die cut only the bottom portion of the image. There are many videos on the technique and I urge you to look them up.

Next, I picked my color palette and colored in the image. I used Gamsol to blend my colored pencil. This gives your colored pencil a nice soft look.

I die cut the new Hello Friend die # 94586, from white cardstock (the shadow) and black cardstock (the words) and glued them together. I used foam adhesive to adhere it to the front of the card.

I wanted the die cut edge to stand out more so I added a black cardstock layer to the inside of the card.
