I spent some time this past week going through my collection of Memory Box dies to see what I might use for designing some valentine cards. The Heart Streamer Globe from Spring 2021 has always been a favorite so I decided to make some cards featuring that image. Here are four that also use Cottage Meadow papers, the Twiggy HUGS die, and some tiny hearts cut using the Double Stitch Loving Hearts dies set.
materials used on these four cards
- white notecards
- white cardstock, red cardstock
- COTTAGE MEADOW PP1003 papers
- HEART STREAMER GLOBE 94558
- TWIGGY HUGS 94519
- DOUBLE STITCH LOVING HEART CUT OUT 94359, the smallest heart
- FAIRY JEWELS
The fifth card (which was the first card I made, actually) used the last piece of paper I had left from SPRINGTIME BOUQUET PP1006.
to make these cards
- cut a pretty background paper 4X5.25 and adhere to the front of a white notecard
- die cut the Heart Streamer Globe from cardstock and attach it to the card front with glue on the outside frame
- add Fairy Jewels to the tiny hearts on the streamers and three more to cover the hole at the top
- die cut two tiny hearts and glue them under the streamers area on the card front
- die cut the Twiggy Hugs from white cardstock or scraps of the printed papers; sneak some of the letters behind and/or over the lowest streamer
- add more of the die cut tiny hearts inside with a message
