Gentle Blossom Watercolor Floral
by Angie Cimbalo

Best real close

Hello and welcome, it's Angie here today with another slimline card using the newly released "Gentle Blossom Watercolor Floral" die.  Here's a closer look at my card:

I dry embossed 2 pieces of dark gray card stock from the "Earth Neutral" paper pack with the "Ringadings 3D Embossing Folder."   I  added both of them them to another larger piece of white card stock (8.5" by 3.5") that was also embossed with the same folder.  To create more texture, I did not line up gray and white the embossed circles.  Above you can see the texture details from that wonderful embossing folder.

I heat embossed the sentiment, from "Big and Little Words" stamp set, and put it right where the two gray embossed gray pieces met in the center.  Next I got busy die cutting the parts of the flowers and leaves.  Here's a list of what I used to cut each part of the leaves:

Main flower and small circular flower center:  White glitter paper from "Majestic Hues Glitter" pack

Large center piece:  Light blue glitter paper from "Pastel Glitter" pack

Leaves & tiny flower center:  Some from green card stock from "Twinkling Jewel Glitter" pack and some green from "Lush Green Glitter" pack

Here's another look at the flowers:

One thing I really like about these dies is there is not a right or wrong way to assemble the leaves or place them on your card.  You can face them either way and can layer them with whatever paper you like and they look great!

Lastly I added some "Bright Fairy Jewels" in a pretty blue randomly to the card front.

I hope you like my card for today!  I had so much fun creating it!
