Gentle Blossom Birthday Wishes Card
by Sara Cook

Hi everyone.  I have a birthday card design using the new Gentle Blossom Watercolor Floral die set. Using these new flower dies with colored paper pads make it easy to create flowers and leaves.

Flowers:

Die cut the bottom die of the new Gentle Blossom Watercolor Floral die from white card stock.  Die cut the next layer from a light blue from the Stormy Blue paper pack.  Die cut the center from a orange and light yellow from Sunny Orange paper pad.  Glue the pieces together using the front of the packaging as a guide.  Shape with your fingers.

Leaves:

Die cut the leaves from Gentle Blossom Watercolor Floral. The solid leaf from a dark tone green and die cut the other leaf die out of a light green from the Lush Green paper pad. I ran out of a dark tone green so I used the med tone and colored with Distress Rustic Wilderness ink.

Sentiment:

Stamp Sending Birthday Wishes from Signature Greetings stamp set with Versa Fine Clair black on white card stock.  Die cut with matching die.

Background:

Emboss a dark color card stock from Stormy Blue with the Ringoding 3D Embossing folder.  Trim to 4' x 5 1/4".

Assembly:

Adhere the background, centered, to a white A2 card.  Arrange the flowers and leaves to the right side of the card.  Tuck in the leaves around the flowers.  Adhere the sentiment to the upper left hand corner.  Add some matching gems from the Winter Fantasy Fairy Gemstones around the sentiment and to the center of 1 flower and 1 leaf.
