Hello and happy Sunday, everyone. I have a simple birthday card to share today featuring the Gentle Blossom Watercolor Floral die from the 2022 Valentine’s collection.
The flower layers were die cut from Bristol paper and two shades of the Vibrant Violet paper. The leaves were die cut from two shades of the Lush Green paper. Added clear shimmer to the entire flower for some sparkle.
Next, white woodgrain paper was trimmed to 4.25”x5.5” (A2 size) and the Double Stitch Loving Heart was die cut from it. Die cut the heart again this time from the same color paper as the flower center. Ran this heart cutout through the die cutting machine with the Pinpoint Burst Plate to give it the burst detail before inlaying it into the woodgrain panel opening. The sentiment from Birthday Blowout stamp set by Poppy Stamps was initially white heat embossed directly on the heart, but the pinpoint detailing made it look splotchy… so it was heat embossed on the same plain color paper, fussy cut out and adhered over top.
A few clear Fairy drops finished off the card. Thank you for joining me today. Have a wonderful week.

That purple is so rich and beautiful. I love the Pinpoint Burst Plate too. It made a gorgeous design on the heart.
