It's time to send out those after Christmas thank you notes, and mine are both a nod to Christmas and to the upcoming Valentine's Day. When I was going through my supplies from the 2021 Valentine Collection thinking about valentines, I found the Woodgrain Heart that I thought would be the perfect background for a Layered Poinsettia thank-you-for-my-Christmas-gift card.

- white notecards
- white cardstock
- cardstock from the LUSH GREEN COLLECTION SP1003

to make this card design
- Trim plaid paper or cardstock to 4X5.25 and adhere to the front of a white notecard.
- Die cut the Woodgrain Heart from cardstock and add it to the front--I used Scor-Tape to anchor mine. In the photo below you can see the beautiful detail in the heart.
- Next die cut the Layered Poinsettia from a cardstock that coordinates with the plaid or cardstock background and heart. I assembled mine using Glue Dots and another in the center back to hold it onto the heart.
- Die cut the Thank You Streamlined Script from white cardstock and use glue to add it to either the heart or the background on the card.
- The last step is to add Christmas Fairy Jewels and Christmas Fairy Crystals to the flower centers and the card background.
