Add glitter to the bold new Contempo Poinsettia and delicate Joy Posh Script on a Madras Plaid slimline design. Treasure Chest Fairy Gemstones add more sparkle...there's a lot happening on this card! Happy weekend, Jean Okimoto here with more designs from our 2021 Holiday Collection.
Cut Contempo Poinsettia from a dark coral 6x6 in the Berry Red Collection. Trim the surrounding solid area to 1-¾" x 4".
Cut the petals from the red sheet in the Twinkling Jewel Glitter Pad and remove the petals. Flip the outline diecut over onto a non-stick surfacee and attach strips of lined doublestick tape across the width of every 3 petals. Use just enough tape to hold the petals - it doesn't need to be completely taped. Flip it over and attach the glittered petals.
Cut a ½" square of the yellow-gold sheet from the Majestic Hues Glitter Pad. Attach it behind the tiny holes in the center.
Cut the solid Joy Posh Script background from the reverse side of White Woodgrain Paper. Pressure-emboss it with the delicate Joy diecut and the plate(s) and rubber embossing mat required for your machine. Cut the delicate Joy from the yellow-gold Majestic Hues sheet. Assemble the greeting.
Cut a 1-¾" x 6-⅜" strip of the Madras Plaid Coral and Green sheet - cut it vertically for a bit of extra length at the top. Trim the rough top edge.
Attach the diecuts to a White Woodgrain slimline card (3-⅝" x 8-½") - use foamtape for the greeting. Add Treasure Chest Fairy Gemstones.
Cover the card front with a slimline-sized layer of cardstock to protect it in the mail.
The Contempo Poinsettia Stencil comes with a matching stencil - we'll use it for another design later.
