Snowman Scene Christmas Card
by Sara Cook

Hi everyone.  I have a snowy scene Christmas card using the Oval Snowman Collage die.  This is a quick and easy Christmas card to reproduce.

Front Panel:

Die cut the Oval Snowman Collage die in the center of a A2 size panel.  Keep the negative die cut to use later.  Ink blend lightly with Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass from the outside to frame the scene.  Take Distress ink Rustic Wilderness and a eye shadow brush and add green to the bottom of the branches.  Color the snowman arms with Distress Oxide Gathered Twigs.  Use the negative die cut mask the the body of the snowman.  From the same negative die cut choose one of the branches that look like a carrot and fussy cut it out.  Color it with Distress Oxide Carved Pumpkin ink.  Die cut the hat from a dark brown from the Earth Neutral paper pack.  Die cut the scarf from a dark red from eh Berry Red paper pack.  Glue the carrot, hat and scarf on the snowman.  Use a fine tip black pen to color in the eyes and mouth.  Use a clear drying glue (white drying glue would be good too) and add glue around the top of the branches and outline the oval and snowman.  Sprinkle with Distress Rock Candy Glitter.  Let dry

Snow Panel:

Ink blend a A2 size panel with Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass.  Do NOT over blend. Let dry.  Add the Poppy Stamps Snowspeckle Wide Washi Tape all over the background.  This washi tape is transparent and shows the background color leaving snow falling.
