Celebrate World Cardmaking Day with the Oval Snowman Collage from the 2021 Holiday Collection. It's just one of many great new dies, 6x6 plaids and glitter cardstock and a beautiful assortment of fairy drops, crystals and dewdrops. Hi, Jean Okimoto here with a frosty winter collage design.
Cut the large Stylish Rectangle Trio from white cardstock. Cut the rectangle with the Oval Snowman Collage. Color his nose and arms with orange and brown markers.
Cut a pale blue 6x6 from the Stormy Blue Collection with the Stylish Rectangle. Save the delicate frame for another project - we're using the interior offcut here. Cut the offcut with the top portion of the new Slim Confetti Plate. Attach it behind the snowman rectangle.
Cut a 3-⅜" x 4" piece of a white 6x6 from the Delicate Pastels Glitter Pad. Attach it behind the Stormy Blue piece to create a frosty dotted background. Attach the 3-layered diecuts to a slightly darker blue A6 card (4-½" x 6-¼"). Attach the delicate Stylish Rectangle frame.
Cut the hat from black cardstock.
Cut the scarf from a blue plaid in the new Woodsy Plaid 6x6 pack.
Attach an adhesive label sheet or sticker paper to bright red felt and cut Resting Birds. The paper backing stabilizes the felt and keeps liquid adhesives from soaking through the fabric.
Attach 3 birds, the scarf, hat and three Winter Fantasy Fairy Gemstones.
Stamp the greeting - from the new Yuletide Moments Clear Stamp Set - on white cardstock witgh Onyx Black VersaFine. Quickly heat-emboss it with detail clear powder. Cut it with the smallest Stylish Rectangle die. Attach the greeting and a bird inside the card.
Hope you'll have time to create a card - or two - this weekend. 2021 has gone by so quickly it seems like I'm running from one holiday to the next!
Have a great weekend...
