STAMPtember’s True Friend Exclusive Stamp Set by Jean Okimoto

Celebrate STAMPtember with the exclusive True Friend Clear Stamp Set! This great limited edition collaboration set from Memory Box and Simon Says Stamp joins the annual fall event of stamping, creativity and friendship.

Hi, Jean Okimoto here after my senior moments of confusion about post scheduling. Hope you like this slimline mix of stamps, embossing and colorful layering.

Stamp the flowers on white vellum with VersaMark and emboss it with detail white powder. Color it - on the reverse side - with cotton swabs and Distress Oxides. Use pointy cosmetic applicator cotton swabs for the narrow areas. Add more ink - from the right side - to fill in any blank or light spots. Colors used here are ripe persimmon, worn lipstick, wild honey and iced spruce. Air-dry the inks, then cut it with the largest Double Stitch Loving Heart Cut Out die.

Cut strips of the light and dark peach 6x6 sheets from the Berry Red Collection with the second-smallest Slim Basic Rectangle Layers die. Cut a strip of the pale orange sheet from the Sunny Orange Collection. Attach the strips to a light gray slimline card (3-½" x 8-½").

Unfold the card and pressure-emboss it with the largest Double Stitch Loving Heart Cut Out die using the rubber embossing mat and plate(s) required for your machine. A small portion at the top of the heart will be embossed onto the back of the card. I don't think the card's recipient will mind - do you?

Attach the vellum heart with tiny strips of ⅛" wide doublestick tape hidden behind the inked areas.

Stamp the greeting on another peach 6x6 with Morning Mist VersaFine Clair. Dry the ink, then trim it with the smallest Rectangle Basics die.

Color Clear Jewels with pink and orange Sharpie or Copic Markers and add them to the card.
