Paper-Pieced Plaid Ring Stack by Jean Okimoto

Great news...coral and pink join orange and black as Halloween colors this year! The Sunny Orange and Madras Plaid Coral and Green paper packs are filled with warm plaids and orange and yellow 6x6's for your Halloween cards. Hi, Jean Okimoto here with a layered slimline design for fall.

Cut ivory cardstock with the 2-¼" x 7-¼" Wrapped Stitched Slim Rectangles die. Cut the rectangle with the Ring Stack. Attach strips of lined doublestick tape behind the cutouts - Couture Creations ⅛" tape is great for this.

Cut the light gold 6x6 from the Polished Foil Pad with Ring Stack. Cut the coral Madras Plaid sheet with Ring Stack too. We're using the plaid oval offcuts here. Set the gold Ring Stack outline into the taped rectangle. Attach the oval offcuts.

Cut Jack o Lantern Bucket base from the dark orange Sunny Orange 6x6 sheet. Cut the plain semi-circle and handle from black cardstock. Assemble the bucket.

Cut the bats - from the Haunted Entrance Dome Layer set - from the black Frosted Glitter Pad 6x6 sheet.

Stamp the greeting - from the Halloween Pumpkin Clear Stamp and Die Set - on the light sandy orange 6x6 sheet with Onyx Black VeraFine. Quickly emboss it with detail clear powder.

Cut it near the left edge with the smallest Wrapped Stitched Slim Rectangles die. Trim the excess on the right edge with a larger die from the same set. It's a quick-cut custom-sized greeting strip without the measuring and trimming.

Attach everything to an ivory slimline card - 3-½" x 8-½". Add orange jewels from the Bright Jewels set.
