Hello everyone.  I needed to build up my birthday card stash, and the Balloon Bunch die from the Summer Daydreams collection fit the bill! 😉  I just stretched it to create a balloon background.

A bunch (pun intended 😁) of the balloons were die cut out from masking paper.  Modified them by cutting away different areas to get the look I wanted, then adhered them to a Bristol panel.

Using blender brushes next, ink blended Salvaged Patina, Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire distress inks (DI) for an ombré look.   Spritz with water and pat with a paper towel.  I find this not only gives texture, but helps the inks to blend better as well.

Splattered the entire panel with water and white gouache paint before removing the balloon masks revealing this…

YAY was die cut with the Twiggy Thank You die three times from black cardstock and stacked for dimension.   I could have used the Twiggy Alphabet dies, but I felt the larger size of the Twiggy Thank You worked better for my card.

The sentiment from Birthday Rose Corner stamp set was white heat embossed on black cardstock and trimmed into a strip.  Some clear drops were added to finish.

And since the supplies were out, I made a second card in rainbow colors to add to my stash!

And that does it for me today.  Thank you for joining me.  Have a wonderful day.
