Streamlined, Delicate Slimline Thank You by Jean Okimoto

P1007430

Say thanks with Sunset Blush Wide Washi Tape , a Vibrant Violet 6x6 and the new Delicate Wreath.  Add tiny blossoms from the Willow Globe die set and custom-colored Clear Jewels.  Top it off with the new Streamlined Thank You Script.  Hi, Jean Okimoto here with a quick washi-taped thank you.

Sunset Blush Wide Washi Tape is great for summer cards - just attach it to one of the 108 colors from our 6x6 Collections.

Chosing the right color for the background can be a little challenging and very sticky.  Here's a tip - attach the tape to a transparency or acetate sheet.  Or the clear poly bags that our dies and stamps are packed in.  Then just lay it over the background color choices to pick the best shade.

Attach the tape to the chosen color, then diecut it with the 2.75" x 4" Rectangle Basics die.

Cut Delicate Wreath and Streamlined Thank You Script from the dark green 6x6 in the Lush Green Collection.

Cut three tiny flowers - from the Willow Globe set - from a pink/violet 6x6 in the Lush Violet Collection.

Attach the diecuts to a white slimline card (3-⅝"x 8-/1/2")  Color Clear Jewels with a violet Sharpie or Copic Marker.  Dry the ink and attach the gems.

Sunset Blush Wide Washi Tape is great with 6x6's from the Berry Red and Sunny Orange Collections too.  Experiment with the different papers and add custom-colored Clear Jewels for a quick card.

Thanks for visiting - see you on Thursday!Jeansignature-3

Very pretty and you are right to say delicate. Love it.

Wow Jean! Such a beautiful card. Thank you for showing the Washi tape over three different colors of paper - it's amazing how different they look. That wreath is beautiful and delicate on the side with the message inside and I really like the layout of this card. Changing up Washi tape and color scheme would make a wonderful Thanksgiving or Christmas card. Thanks for the inspiration Jean, as always!
