Happy Haunting

Happy Friday everyone! For today's card I used the castle stamp and turned it into a Haunted House. It's a great way to get the most out of your everyday stamps.

Let's make the card:

Create a blended background on white cardstock using Distress Oxide inks.

Lightly spritz with plain water and blot with a dry paper towel.
Stamp the castle on white cardstock and color with colored pencils. Ink the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink, and die cut the image with the coordinating die.
Die cut the ghosts and moon from white cardstock and lightly ink the edges with Black Soot Distress ink. Add a little bit of Mustard Seed Distress ink to the moon.
Die cut the gates and tree branches from black cardstock.
Stamp and white heat emboss the Happy Haunting on a strip of black cardstock.

Glue the moon and the branches to the card.
Next, adhere the ghosts and the railings to the back of the haunted house and glue it to the card.
Use foam tape to adhere the sentiment under the haunted house.
Glue the card front to a black cardstock mat and adhere it to a white card base.
Use a thin lined black marker to add cracks to the windows.
