Flower Bouquet Thank You Card
by Sara Cook

Hi everyone.  I have a monochromatic bouquet Thank You card for today.  I have seen so many beautiful cards like this and wanted to try one with some fall colors and the spring released flower dies.  I used cream and light orange to create a late summer/early fall feeling.

Woodgrain Background:

Die cut the Wood Grain Planks, twice, from the cream color Woodgrain card stock.  Paint each plank with Ranger Vintage Collage Medium and let dry.  Then paint with Gansai Tambi Champagne Gold to create a glitter effect.  Let dry.  Glue the planks lengthwise on a side folded A2 size card base.  Make sure to stager the planks so the seams do not line up.

Flower Bouquet:

Die cut the following flowers from the light orange oar from Sunny Orange paper pack; Lavender Stems, Daisy Stems, Wildflower Stems, and Seed Stems.  I was able to arrange all dies on 1 sheet of paper and die cut it at one time to save time.  Splatter the die cuts with the Gansai Tambi Champagne Gold to add some of the same glitter to the focal point.  Let dry.  Arrange the bouquet until you get a good arrangement and tie with twine.  Add glue to the back of the twine and stem and glue 1 string and trim. Take the other end, add more glue to the back of the knot and wind the twine.  Trim an hold in place until the glue dries.

Sentiment:

Die cut the Thank You Streamlined Script die from the same light orange paper as the flowers from the Sunny Orange paper pack.

Assembly:

Cut 3 strips of clothe strips slightly smaller then the length of the card.  Fray the edges of each strip.  Glue on to the lower half of the card.  Fray and trim the clothe until it looks organic.  Glue on the bouquet of flowers to the left side of the card.  Arrange flowers and foliage and then glue some in place and leave some floating.  Glue the Thank You die cut on top of the clothe.
