Celebrate Halloween at the Stone Keep Castle, surrounded by glittery diecuts borrowed from the Haunted Entrance Dome Layer set.  Hi, Jean Okimoto here sharing a card that began with with simple intentions and took on a life of its own.

Cut the Garland floral print with the largest Rectangle Basics die.  Cut it again with the largest Double Stitch Rectangle Cut Out die.  Leave both pieces in the die and attach ¼" wide double-stick tape, joining both pieces.

Score and fold cream cardstock to begin a top-folded A-2 card.  Place one short edge of the largest Rectangle  Basics die just outside of the top fold so it won't cut that edge and cut the folded cardstock into an A-2 card. Attach the Double Stitch Rectangle pieces.

Cut a dark brown sheet from the Earth Neural 6x6 Collection with the 4.1 x 3" Nested Globes die.  Cut the globe with the Stone Keep Castle Collage die.

Make it easy to add the little glittered orange window "lights" by attaching doublestick tape behind the openings.  Cut the lights from the pale orange 6x6 Frosted Glitter Pad sheet.

Cut a piece of the light brown Earth Neutral sheet with one end of the longest Wood Grain Planks die.  Cut the door.

Cut the bats, pumpkins and a ghost from the Haunted Entrance Dome Layer set from the glitter pad sheets too.  Cut the pumpkins again from scrap cardstock and layer them for dimension.  Attach a scrap of bright orange cardstock behind the ghost's mouth.  Use a piercing tool to enlarge the eyes.

Assemble the card - use foamdots for the ghost.

Our 3 Castle Collages are usually on whimsical, pretty cards.  Add a new look with Halloween icons and fall colors...and brighten it with glitter.  Next, add Christmas lights and sparkly stars for a holiday look.

Thanks for visiting...see you this weekend!

I'm not a fan of Halloween and don't make many cards around it. This one is, however, quite unique and someone is going to love it for sure.

Great creation!

Thanks Johanna...agree with you about Halloween, not a big fan of scary/creepy!

Thanks Barbara-Jean!

Cool! Thank you for the Halloween card idea. It's really spooky! I need to get started on those cards since Judie is doing hers today:)
