I needed some thank you notes and made a trio of them this week using Twilight Purple cardstocks, Violet Madras Plaid papers, the Floral Chain and Thank You Streamlined Script dies, and some clear Fairy Jewels.
materials used
- TWILIGHT PURPLE CARDSTOCK PAD SP1008
- MADRAS PLAID BLUE AND VIOLET PAD PP1014
- FLORAL CHAIN 94542
- THANK YOU STREAMLINED SCRIPT 94541
- CLEAR FAIRY JEWELS JWL1001
- white notecards
to make these cards
- Cover the fronts of white notecards with purple cardstocks from the Twilight Purple paper pad.
- Die cut several of the FLORAL CHAIN from a variety of the purple cardstocks.
- Die cut several of the FLORAL CHAIN and THANK YOU STREAMLINED SCRIPT from a variety of the violet plaids from the Madras Plaid paper pad.
- Stack one of the plaid floral chains on top of one of the purple cardstock floral chains offset a bit and add it to the front of the notecard with foam dimensional dots.
- Add a separate flower cut from a cardstock chain to the center of one of the flowers with a Glue Dot.
- Add three clear Fairy Jewels to the center of each flower.
- Add the Thank You Streamlined Script on the lower right front of the card and three more clear Fairy Jewels. (I used a Glue Pen.)
Here's a closer look at each of the three cards.
These cards came together quickly assembly-line style once I had everything die cut. And I still have more of everything die cut and filed in clear storage pouches (Medium Storage Pouch pack of 50 SB10020) with each die. Did you know that Memory Box makes both clear and colored storage pouches (six colors!) and magnet sheets? If you look at the Memory Box catalog under Storage, you will find three sizes of each! These are what I am using now to organize all of my dies and stamp sets in little boxes by release name/date. What kind of a storage system do you have for your dies and stamp sets?
Happy Crafting!
