Hello everyone. I don’t know about you, but I have a thing for alphabet dies. 😂 No seriously, I do! I love how I can customize my cards with them. And no surprise I loved the Twiggy Alphabet dies from the Sumner Daydreams release as soon as I saw it. I used it here to create a very simple card today.
Started by picking out the papers from the different paper packs to get a rainbow. Die cut the letters from them in rainbow order and their shadows from Bristol paper, then adhered them together. “sending” from Deep Blue Ocean stamp set was white heat embossed on black cardstock.
The background is Bristol paper die cut with the Double Stitch Loving Heart die, then backed with Dura-Lar. Dura-Lar is a synthetic film and its heat resistant properties make them ideal for heat embossing, which I was planing to do but changed my mind. Assembled the card onto a split black/white card base to finish.
So I couldn’t let July pass by without creating a Christmas-in-July card. 😉 I made it rainbow color as well, but only used the shadow for the sentiment.
Shading was added to each letter shadow with a grey Copic marker.
The holly from Antique Holly Label was die cut from Bristol paper. Left it uncolored because I didn’t want it to compete with the colourful sentiment. Assembled the card onto white woodgrain paper, then added a few clear jewels as holly berries and clear shimmer on the letters for some sparkle to finish.
And that concludes this post for today. Thank you for joining me. Have a wonderful day.

Fabulous CAS cards, both your designs are so classy and I'm impressed by the fact you made even the shadow to each letter in the rainbow one!! A lot of love into these cards!
