Hello everyone. The new Summer Daydreams collection is officially live today and it’s another fabulous release. I used the new Elegant Succulent Sentiments stamp set to do some light watercoloring on color paper and create a simple card.
Started by trimming a piece of aqua paper from the Fresh Aqua paper pack to A2 size (4.25”x5.5”). Stamped the succulent image with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Used Zig markers to color and only a tiny bit of water with a watercolor brush to help blend the colors. This paper may be nice and thick, but it is not watercolor paper.
Next, die cut the new Hello Streamlined Script sentiment from silver Polished Foil paper and from black cardstock to offset them for a drop shadow. Die cut the Stylish Rectangle frame from Bristol paper, then assembled the card onto a white card base. Clear shimmer on the image and a few clear jewels finished it off.

Beautiful Trina, the soft watercolouring is gorgeous. I must try that with coloured card stock. I love the frame die.

You've combined the colors beautifully in this card. The blue on the basis of the card and in the coloring look so amazing. A small amount of green perfectly breaks the monochrome nature of the card.

Wonderful!!! Wow! I love aqua and this tone on tone colouring looks awesome! Fabulous stamp and the shining sentiment has a lovely font!
