I am having so much fun with the castle stamps and dies in this release. I have a gift tag to go along with the birthday card from my last post using the Stone Keep Castle and Willow Globe dies.
Die cut the Snowglobe backer die from Kraft Woodgrain card stock. Color the front frame using Distress Ink Vintage Photo by sliding the ink pad along the grain. Die cut the Willow Globe dies from a light green in the Lush Green paper back. Color white card stock with Distress Ink Ketch Flamingo. Let dry and die cut a hand full of flowers from the die in the Willow Globe. Die cut the Snowglobe backer die from grey card stock and cut on the 2nd fold line from the frame. Die cut the Radiant Snowglobe from a medium green from the Lush Green paper pack. Die cut the Radiant Snowglobe from white card stock. Color the sky first with Distress ink Squeezed Lemonade the sun and blend to Broken China and then Salty Ocean. Use the matching Nest Globe die to die cut a panel from Kraft Woodgrain card stock. Glue the Kraft panel to the backside of the Radiant Snowglobe. Glue in the sky.
Die cut the Stone Keep Castle from gray card stock, then with black fir the towers and Kraft Woodgrain for the door. Fussy cut out the castle from the frame and shade with a small foam applicator and Distress Ink Hickory Smoke. Color the door the same way as the frame, Vintage Photo along the wood grain. Cut out the black tops of the towers. Glue the owners on the castle. Glue black card stock behind the castle to who only behind the windows and doorway. Glue the door over the black card stock. Glue the castle behind the gray globe frame.
Fold the front of the Snowglobe Backer 90 degrees. Glue in the castle frame in the next section then the Radiant Snowglobe. Glue in the flap to the back panel. Tie the globe together with pink twine. Glue in the flowers on the willow branches and add some Berry Mist Fairy Sugar to center of flowers. Take any left over Ketch Flamingo colored paper and stamp Happy Birthdate from the Majestic Achievements stamp set with black ink and die cut out. Adhere to the front frame.
Supplies
In general gift tags are not my thing, but I have to say this one is very creative. Beautifully put together and unusual.
