Continuing with this month's water theme I made a card that features a Waves-tossed Grand Tulip shell.
To make this card I began with a Pool notecard and a sheet of aqua cardstock from the FRESH AQUA COLLECTION SP1004 which I embossed using the WAVES EMBOSSING FOLDER EF1013. I used Scor-Tape to attach the waves to the card front after trimming it to 4 X 5 1/4.
Next I used two pieces of the Open Studio WATERCOLOR PAPER WP101 and my small set of Kuretake watercolors to create the papers I needed for the shell. I did refer to the GRAND TULIP SHELL outline die as I painted one of the papers so that I would have a darker area in the shell opening which is at the bottom right. I used the GRAND TULIP SHELL dies 94566 to cut the outline from one of the papers and the solid shell from the other.
I used a glue pen to attach the outline to the solid shell layer and Scor-Tape to secure the shell to the waves paper. I then added three small blue Fairy Jewels to complete the card.
Happy Crafting!
