Hello everyone! I know there is an explosions of weddings this summer. I will show how to make a quick and elegant wedding card using the new Blooming Sweet Pea 3D embossing folder.
Emboss a white 80 lb white card with the Blooming Sweet Pea 3D embossing folder. Trim down to 4 1/4" tall by 2 1/4" wide. Trim a black card to 4 / 1/4" tall by 2 1/2" wide and adhere to the back of the embossed card.
For the flower I choose the Dreamy Freesia die for the focal point. You can choose any flower to match the wedding. There are so many elegant flowers from the spring release to choose from. I watercolored the flower but die cutting from a matching color paper would also be stunning. There are so many colors to chose from. I die cut the flower from Memory Box Watercolor Paper. I used Kuretake watercolors to water color the flower using a dry technique with a wet brush. Concentrating the darker color in the center and lighter at the end of the petals. For the puds I used very little water to get a darker color. Let dry. watercolor the stem. Let dry. I used a Posh white paint pen to add a white center and outline the petals.
Create an A2 card out of white card stock. Adhere the matted embossed panel to the left of the card. Stamp the "wishing you all the happiness in the world" on the right hand side with black ink from the All the Happiness stamp set. Adhere some Fairy Drop embellishments around the sentiment. Adhere the flower onto the 3D embossed panel.
Supplies
An elegantly simple design that has huge impact visually. Well done!
