Greetings friends. I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. It is time to rest up, play with your favorite spring stamps and prepare yourself for the new Memory Box release....which arrives on Monday! The release is called "Under the Sea," and I know you are going to love it. Also, be prepared for some new videos!
As I prepare samples with the latest release, I want to share a card that features the Wooden Alphabet set. I love this set because it cuts out the letters as well as gives you the texture of woodgrain at the same time (you don't have to run it through your die cut machine twice). I find that it works for pretty much any occasion, even for those sometimes difficult to make masculine cards.
To make my card, I cut out the letters using dark brown cardstock and layered them onto a kraft colored heart cut from one of the Valentine release dies. I don't know about you, but I tend to use hearts year-round.
To finish the card, I sponged some Vintage Photo Distress ink to the edges of my heart and layered it onto some of the new Memory Box plaid papers.
Thanks for visiting today!
