Add sparkly highlights to the new 6x6 cardstock collections to create custom backgrounds for any project. The Crystal Frame offcut becomes a shimmery setting for Daisy Stems and Lavender Stems. Lavender Stems are colored green here to be used as fillers for a casual handpicked bouquet.
Hi, Jean Okimoto here with a basic floral design that works for any occasion. Cut Crystal Frame from the dark orange sheet in the Sunny Orange 6x6 Collection. Save the large center offcut - and the tiny triangles on both sides.
Shake the Imagine Crafts Gold Sheer Shimmer Spritz, the spray the center offcut with a light, shimmery mist. Airdry it for a few minutes, then heat-set it.
Attach the Crystal Frame to a 3-⅝" x 8-½" slimline card. Attach the center section, then the delicate frame and the two little side triangles.
Create a stash of inked backgrounds to diecut flowers and foliage. The pieces used here are painted with light layers of diluted Kaleidacolor dye ink refills, dried, then sprayed with the Shimmer Spritz.
Cut the main Daisy Stem, three of the smaller flowers and the leafy stem. Cut the Lavender Stems from green-painted paper.
Attach the diecuts to the background - remove the small bottom branch of the leafy piece and attach it near the blossom on the left - and use tiny slivers of foamtape to add dimension to the flowers. Trim the bottom of a few stems so they vary in length.
Tie a small gold cord bow and attach it the the bouquet.
Stamp the greeting - from the Joyful Moments Clear Stamp Set - on white cardstock with Summertime VersaFine Clair. Cut it with the 1-½" Circle Basics die. Cut another circle from scrap paper and paint it green. Attach it behind the stamped circle for dimension.
Attach ¼" circles punched from the green Twinkling Jewel 6x6 sheet.
Mix and match the colors and Memory Box flowers in your collection and create unique cards for any occasion. I think anyone would appreciate a handmade card topped with colorful flowers.
