Lemon-yellow Gerber blossoms bloom along a bright pastel Crystal Border in mix of angles+curves, brights+white, glitter+foil...all on a short slimline card! Hi, Jean Okimoto here with a design ready to welcome Spring.
Cut a 6-¼" x 7-½" sheet of white cardstock. Score it (horizontally) at ¾" and 4-¼". Cut Crystal Border about ¾" to the right of the ¾" scoreline. We're using just the cutout here. Cut a 3-½" x 6-¼" piece of smooth white cardstock. Attach it to the ¾" tab to create the back of the card.
Cut Crystal Border again from the gold sheet in the 6x6 Polished Foil pad - we're using the delicate cutout.
Cut Crystal Border again from smooth white cardstock covered with blended inks in shades of pink, peach, teal, yellow and green - remove the delicate outline but keep the diecut pieces in the die for easy re-assembly later. My inked paper stash somehow included at sheet of blended inks with sections that matched the pattern of the Crystal Border - it was a lucky day.
Attach a wide strip of lined doublestick tape behind the Crystal Border cutout - the adhesive will be visible in the cutout on the card front. Save the paper tape liner.
Press the delicate gold Crystal Border onto the exposed adhesive in the cutout. Press it with the paper tape liner.
Attach the little pieces to the adhesive in each section - then press everything with the saved paper tape liner.
Cut just the tops of the Gerber Stems from the yellow 6x6 sheet in the Frosted Glitter Pad. Cut the whole Gerber stems and small leafy stem from a green sheet in the Lush Green Collection. Attach the yellow flower tops to the green flowers, slightly offset. Attach the flowers to the card, then add the small leafy stem.
Stamp the greeting - from the new Poppystamps Diamond Sentiments Clear Stamp and Die Set - on white cardstock with Shady Lane VersaFine Clair. Dry the ink and punch or cut a 1-¼" circle. Cut another 1-¼" circle from a scrap of the inked paper and attach it - slightly offset - behind the greeting circle to add dimension.
Add ¼" dots punched from the chartreuse sheet in the Frosted Glitter Pad.
Our latest Collection's floral dies can be used in so many ways...diecut your favorite flowers, add colors, and arrange them on Spring cards for quick greetings.
Thanks for visiting - have a great weekend!
