Need 24 treat totes in a hurry? The new Spring Plaid Slim set - 2 each of 12 double-sided 3.5" x 8.5" plaids - makes it quick and easy to fold and diecut these pastel totes for spring and Easter treats.
Hi, Jean Okimoto with a project inspired by Sara's sweet Spring Plaid Slim set baskets. These hold the foil-wrapped Ghiradelli egg and bunny chocolates - and the Ghiradelli squares.
Trim the perforated edge and hole at the top of the Spring Plaid Slim sheet. Score and fold it vertically at 4-¼". Place the 3" wide Nested Globe die on the folded paper with the bottom edge of the die about 1/16" below the fold. Cut the folded paper.
Cut it again with the 1-½" Circle Basics die to create a handle.
Cut the the dotted side of the pale peach and pale blue Cottage Stripes and Dots sheets with the second-smallest Nested Globe die. Trim ¼" from the straight end. Score it at ⅞" and fold it in half to form a tab to close the tote. Use double-stick tape to attach the candy inside the tote. Attach the tab with double-stick tape.
Twilight Purple 6x6 sheets. Cut the flower centers from the pink and iridescent pale lavender Delicate Pastels 6x6 Glitter Pad sheets.
Simple designs are great for busy weekends when you have a long list of errands but want a few minutes of creative enjoyment. Thanks for visiting - see you again on Wednesday!
