The Blooming 3D Embossing Folder creates an instant A-2 sized background - or diecut a portion of it for a glossy pastel Easter egg.  Hi, Jean Okimoto here with an easy way to highlight the beautiful details and dimension of this versatile floral design.

Begin with watercolor paper's smoother side sponged with soft overlapping layers of pastel inks. Heat-set the inks, then place the paper in the Blooming 3D Embossing Folder with the inked side facing the bumpier side of the folder.  Pressure-emboss the paper using the plate(s) required for your machine.  I layered the thick platform, the folder+enclosed paper and 3 layers of 80# cardstock as a shim on my Platinum machine. No embossing mats or additional plates.

Place the embossed paper on a hard, flat surface and use a hard rubber brayer to coat the raised areas with VersaMark (use a clean VersaMark inkpad).  Heat-emboss it with detail white powder.  Cut it with the second-largest die from the Half a Dozen Eggs set.

Cut Happy Easter Posh Script from the yellow Sunny Orange Collection sheet.  Cut two Wild Grass Borders from the Lush Green Collection sheet.  Cut three flowers from the Cherry Blossom Elements set from the pink Berry Red Collection sheet.  Punch ¼" dots from the yellow sheet for the center of the flowers.

Cut the yellow, orange and yellow-orange Graceful Garden glittered cardstock sheets with the 1-¼" Half a Dozen Eggs die.

Cut white cardstock with the largest Wrapped Stitched Slim Rectangle die and attach it to a 3-⅝" x 8-⅝" white slimline card.

Attach one grass border on the left.  Mark the postion of the orange glittered egg.  Attach the second grass border where the joined sections will be covered by the egg.  Trim the excess border on the right side.

Attach the diecuts - use a ruler or T-square to align the greeting.  Attach just a few blades of grass.

Memory Box 3D Embossing Folders are great for quick cards with the addition of a simple greeting.  Or, use the folders as we've done here for cards to share with the special people in your life.

Thanks for visiting - see you on Thursday!

Such a beautiful card and the embossing on the eggs really makes them pop.

Very pretty! The embossing for the die cut eggs really is attractive.

Love this embossed egg! So pretty!

This is a beautiful Easter card! I'm inspired by so many of the elements, including the color scheme, the placement of the grass and of course the glitter. I am really enjoying these long slim cards that you are designing. Thank you Jean!
