Plaid Floral Slimline Birthday Mail
by Angie Cimbalo

1

Hello and welcome, it's Angie here today with a plaid floral slimline card made with products from the new Spring 2020 release!

Here's a close up of my card:

Here's how I made my card:

1)  Stamp and heat embossed in clear, the large flower from "All the Happiness" stamp and die set, then die cut it out

2)  Color the image with alcohol markers and colored pencils and white gel pen

3

3)  Die cut the "Birthday Mail Posh Script" dies, background in black and in purple to stack, and the top part of die from white.  The purple paper comes from "Twilight Purple" 6" X 6" paper pad

4)  Choose matching plaid paper from the "Slim Sheets Paper Pad" and trim it to 8.5" X 3"

5

5)  Using the new "Slim Diagonal Collage" slimline die on the plaid paper, slightly off to the side and back the opening with the same purple paper in the "Twilight Purple" paper pad, then adhere that to the card base 8.5" X 7 ", scored at 3.5"

6)  Cut two 8.5" thin strips of black card stock for each side of the long plaid panel

7)  Adhere the floral image and word die to the front of the card and add a few water droplet gems to the front of the card

I really love how the large image in the "All the Happiness" stamp set is long and large, so it can work for both slimline, A2 and all sizes of cards.  The "Slim Diagonal Collage" die adds a lot of interest in your backgrounds and the choices of colors in the plaid "Slim Sheets" paper pad are all perfect for spring and summer creations.

Hope you like my slimline birthday card!   Thanks so much for stopping by!
