Hello everyone! Today's card features new products from the 2021 Memory Box release.
I love that Dave included more slimline dies in this release. It took me a while to warm up to the slimline card design, but now I like it!
To make this card, I started by die cutting one of the Wrapped Stitched Slim Rectangles from a piece of watercolor paper. I used used Distress Oxide Inks to ink the background. Next I spritzed the background with plain water and dried the paper. Once the paper was dry I spattered it with white ink.
I knew I wanted to use Wildflower and Daisy Stem dies for my card, so I die cut several from white cardstock. Once I picked the die cuts I was using, I glued them to my background.
I know my paper looks very wavy in this picture, but it was still wet. Once it was dry it flattered right out.
At this point, I felt it needed a little contrast so I die cut a few gray stems from the new solid color cardstock.
Next, I die cut the Sylvan Butterfly, the background is blue cardstock and the outline is dark gray. I glued only the center of the outline of the butterfly to the background butterfly. I glued black wire to the back of the butterfly for antennas and used foam tape to adhere it to my card.
To finish the card, I stamped and white heat embossed my sentiment and added some gray rhinestones.
That's it for today!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Very beautiful and I love how your inks blended. The butterfly is a nice finishing touch and the wire antenna is genius.
