Sideways Over the Rainbow by Jean Okimoto

The new Arched Collage and Color Wheel 6x6's create a perfect rainbow - like on Michelle's Rainbow Shaker card. Or add a watercolored Wrapped Stitched Rectangle, Color Wheel 6x6's bright pastels, and Graceful Garden glitter diecuts for a totally different look. Hi, Jean Okimoto here with another way to take advantage of these great dies and papers from our 2021 Spring Collection.

Cut watercolored paper with the second-largest Wrapped Stitched Slim Rectangles die. Cut the rectangle with Arched Collage. Save the offcuts for another project.

Cut 3" strips of the Color Wheel cardstock in different widths (from left to right) - 1-¼", 1", ¾", 1", 1". They're from these sets - Twilight Purple, Vibrant Violet, Sunny Orange and Fresh Aqua.

Tape them together to keep them intact, then attach them behind the Arched Collage. There are 9 Color Wheel 6x6 Sets - a total of 108 beautiful colors! Use your favorite shades (or the recipient's) and vary the widths for different looks. Or stack the colors vertically, like a real rainbow.

Cut a white Thank You Posh Script background. Cut the delicate top layer from the pink Graceful Garden Glitter Pad sheet.

Cut Stitched Rain Boots (a classic favorite for many years) and punch ¼" dots from the glitter sheet too.

Attach everything to a white slimline card (3-½" x 8-½") - use foamtape for boot on the right.

Slimline cards are always a nice surprise in the mail. The envelopes look like plain everyday mail - finding your handcrafted card inside makes it extra-special!
