It's Time for a New Memory Box Collection!
by Anne Thompson

Yes, it's time for a new Memory Box Collection!  Today is the day that the newest of the new for SPRING 2021 products are here!!!  Clear Stamp Sets.  Dies.  An Embossing Folder.  Products for Slimline Cards including dies and slimline PAPER.  And, speaking of paper, there are new glitter papers, plaid papers, and tons of solids all in 6X6 pads.

I chose a small floral cluster stamp from ALL THE HAPPINESS CL5265-D for the focal image on the cards I made for today.

materials used

  • white notecards
  • green cardstock from the LUSH GREEN COLLECTION SP1003...this paper pad has 48 6X6 sheets of 110# cardstock, 4 each of 12 shades of green!
  • plaid paper from SPRING PLAID PP1012
  • VersaFine Clair green inks, Shady Lane and Green Oasis
  • the smaller floral cluster stamp and matching die from ALL THE HAPPINESS CL5262-D
  • "Thank You" stamp from JOYFUL MOMENTS CL5266
  • THANK YOU POSH SCRIPT (2 dies) 94529
  • Prismacolor pencils in shades of pink and green

To make these cards, I first stamped the floral image on the plaid paper and cut it out with the matching die.  I added some color to the flower petals and leaves using colored pencils.  I attached a whole bunch of white pearls in tiny/small sizes for the berries and larger clear fancy gems for the flower centers.

I used several of the green cardstock papers for backgrounds against the white notecards.  On one of the cards I stamped "Thank You" and on the other two I used the Thank You Posh Script with a plaid background and either glitter paper or green cardstock for "Thank You" on top.

These were so much fun to do that I finished three more playing with other plaids and colored pencil accents.  I love stamping on printed papers and adding bits of color like this.

I know I can't wait to see what other folks on the Design Team will feature.  Check this blog every day!

Happy Crafting!

Lovely designs, the flowers are so pretty in the plaid papers, definitely need to check those out!

Love your paper-pieced cards, Anne! And I'm excited to see your new paper pads - I've been hoping that someone would give us shades of a color for all the lovely layered dies that we have now! I'll be first in line for these!

Beautiful and thanks for the ideas. I like the subtly of the plaids which gave me an idea of how to use some stencils I own and get a similar effect.

Am so ready for spring! Lovely cards and new products!
