Hello and happy Friday. When I saw a cool card by Bibi Cameron on Instagram (IG), I knew I had to try it! Bonus that it’s super easy, too!
Started by partial die cutting a gray top folding card base with the largest Scallop Pinpoint Loving Heart die, leaving the bottom uncut.
Took a light pink top folding card base next and partially die cut it so the top of the heart where the fold is remains connected.
Align and adhere the hearts to the front and back of the card base on the inside... and now the card is ready to decorate.
The inside was left blank.
I stamped the images from Peony Garden Corner with Fadeout ink on mixed media paper and did some no-line watercoloring using new Karin brush markers I received for Christmas. The images were die cut out with the matching dies. The sentiment from Poppy Stamps Birthday Blowout was then white heat embossed on a black heart cut-out. Assembled the card to finish.
Almost forgot to mention when assembling, it is important not to adhere anything to the cutout area. All adhesive is on the gray base. I had a short video showing what it looks like when opened, but had trouble uploading. Bibi’s IG link above will show you exactly what type of card it is. Well, that does it for me. Thank you for joining me. Have a wonderful day.
