Hello! Welcome to the Valentines 2021 Collection Blog Blitz! We are so excited to have new dies to work with and a focus on love-ly cards. Even our monthly blog challenge is all hearts! We have so many products and samples to share with you! Be sure to leave comments on the blog posts each day this week (Monday, January4th-Friday, January 8th). For my three cards today I used the VERDANT LEAF COLLAGE 94525, CRYSTAL HEART 94517, and SENDING LOVE POSH SCRIPT 94543 with Christmas Plaids and foil papers.
Card One
- 5 X 7 cream notecard, top-fold
- VERDANT LEAF COLLAGE 94525, cut from cream/maroon/light green/gold CHRISTMAS PLAID PP1009 and trimmed to fit; glued on the left
- CRYSTAL HEART 94517, cut from the same plaid and backed with Scor-Tape to make it easy to adhere the outline shape on the right
- another scrap of the plaid placed above the heart with three flat cream discs
- SENDING LOVE POSH SCRIPT 94543 cut from gold POLISHED FOIL PAPER FP1001, also backed with Scor-Tape and tucked into the bottom of the leafy rectangle
- a brown satin ribbon bow attached to the stem at the top of the leaves
the three new dies I used
Card Two
- A2 Juniper notecard, top-fold
- VERDANT LEAF COLLAGE cut into the front of the notecard
- VERDANT LEAF COLLAGE cut from blue-green foil paper with the snipped leafy branch layered and glued behind the one on the notecard
- a piece of gray snowy paper glued behind the Verdant Leaf Collage
- CRYSTAL HEART and SENDING LOVE POSH SCRIPT both cut from more of the same Scor-Tape-backed foil and added to the card front
- a tiny pearl to dot the i and three larger ones in the lower right
Card Three
- A2 Holly Berry red notecard, top-fold
- VERDANT LEAF COLLAGE, CRYSTAL HEART, and SENDING LOVE POSH SCRIPT all cut from red/white/gold CHRISTMAS PLAID and layered onto white cardstock and trimmed to fit the front of the notecard
- a scrap of the plaid added above the heart with three white pearls
For each of these cards I have also papered the inside and lined their envelopes with the same or coordinating Christmas Plaid papers. I love that I can use so many of the patterns for valentines and other occasions throughout the year.
