I decided this week to make some valentines that use products from the Valentines 2021 new collection as well as some favorites from the Christmas 2020 release. I love that so many of the holiday 6X6 papers are perfect for valentines and a lot of the dies can be used beyond Christmas as well. I made three cards that all use the same dies with different paper combinations. The WOODGRAIN HEART 94552 is the centerpiece on each one.
Card One
- Holly Berry Red Notecard
- red/white striped and red/white plaid papers , DASHING HOLIDAY PP1001 (I noticed that it is discontinued in the catalog, but maybe you have some stashed away or you can substitute another plaid or print paper that would work just as well. )
- WOODGRAIN HEART 94552
- SENDING LOVE POSH SCRIPT 94543
- LARGE VINTAGE SLED 94496
- MISTLETOE BUNDLE 94484
- red foil paper, POLISHED FOIL PAD FP1001
- green (mistletoe) and red (sled base) dot papers, GARLAND STRIPES AND DOTS 6X6 pad PP1011
- tiny white satin bow; white pearls
Card Two
additional materials used
- white notecard
- plaid paper from CHRISTMAS PLAID 6X6 pad PP1009
- black cardstock
- tiny black satin bow; white pearls
Card Three
additional materials used
- plaid papers from CHRISTMAS PLAID 6X6 pad PP1009
- black and white cardstock
- white notecard
- tiny white satin bow; red gems for berries
So even though we've moved into a new year and a focus on upcoming holidays, don't forget to look at some of what you have left from past projects to see how things might be repurposed.
Happy Crafting!
Fab combo of papers and images on these cards, the woodgrain heart is a lovely design.

These are great. I really like how you used the different papers together with the heart and leaves.
