I need a bunch of thank you cards, I've got all of these great new dies from Memory Box Valentines 2021, and there are two bags of chocolate hearts in the cupboard. Hmmm...
materials used
- white note cards
- plaid papers from CHRISTMAS PLAIDS 6X6 PP1009
- DOUBLE STITCH LOVING HEART CUT OUT 94359
- SENDING LOVE POSH SCRIPT 94543
- BIG HUGS POSH SCRIPT 94528
- TWIGGY HUGS 94519
I added plaid papers to the fronts of the three notecards. I figured out how many chocolate hearts I wanted on each card and chose dies the right size from the Double Stitch Loving Heart Cut Out dies set, placed them on top of the plaid papers and cut right through the card fronts. Then I used large glue dots to secure the hearts into the openings. I used the punched out pieces to decorate an envelope for each card. I cut the sentiments from an extra notecard and added them with glue onto the card fronts.
And that's it! Easy peasy! I'm going to gently secure all the chocolate hearts to enough cards so that I won't be tempted to eat them myself. Mom and I can use them for thank you notes to her caregivers and tuck them into valentine baskets for friends and neighbors. Guess we will hand-deliver these unless I include them in boxes to send to relatives and friends we may not see before Valentine's Day.
I like how the hearts pop up from the inside of the card, and there is still plenty of room to write a message as well. You could also use the same idea to make tags that could be attached to valentine packages.
Happy Crafting!
Very clever to include the chocolate hearts inside the die cut window! Love these designs, die cuts and papers!
