Glittered Winter Wonderland
by Laura Fulcher

Greetings friends.  I wanted to share a dimensional card I made using a primarily white color palette with a glittery winter forest.  To make the card, I cut out two layers of trees.  The first layer is the Pine Tree Collage, which definitely has an evergreen/winter feel to it.  The second layer is the Wooded Glen Collage.  I usually use it for an autumnal card.  However, I found that if you cut it out in white and added white glitter, it looked great for winter.  For the inside of the card, I used the Cabin Collage die.  When you cut out that die, it looks like this:

I just wanted the cabin and the base of the cabin for my card, so I cut it out like this using my scissors:

For the glittery backs of the tree, I used a combination of the Frosted Glitter and Holiday Glitter papers.  I didn't have enough of either, so that is why I used both paper packs.  Both papers are glittery, but the frosted is a bit more muted and the holiday really brings the glitz.  Here is a close up of the sparkle:

To assemble the card, I used a little foam tape so that there was a little extra dimension to the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
