Happy Friday everyone! Now that it's November, it's time to start thinking about Christmas cards.
For today's card, I started by die cutting several trees from watercolor paper using the new Pine Tree Collage die and used watercolors to paint each tree.
Next, I stamped and white heat embossed my sentiment on white cardstock. I placed a circle mask for the moon under the sentiment and sponged my paper with Red Distress Oxide Inks, leaving about an inch of plain white on the bottom of my cardstock. To finish, I spattered the paper with plain water to give it the look of snow.
I used black cardstock to die cut the Santa and sleigh and glued it in place over the moon.
Next, I glued the trees in place along the bottom of the inked portion of the background. Once the trees were glued in place, I spattered the card front with white paint.
I adhered the card front to a piece of patterned paper and glued that to a white top folding card base.
To finish the card, I added texture paste under the tree line and sprinkled glitter on it while it was still wet.
Thanks for stopping by today and have a great weekend!
