Hello, it's Angie here today with a clean and simple slimline card using Memory Box's "Berry Wreath" and "Christmas Tiles" stamps and dies. I love stamping a large stamp image and cutting it into smaller pieces to use on my cards. This time I did this with the large "Berry Wreath" stamp and die set. Here's a closer look:
I stamped the wreath in black and heat embossed it in clear, then colored it with alcohol markers and colored pencils. After die cutting the image, I cut it into two piece to use on a slimline card base. After I adhered both piece to the card front, I took the "peace, love & joy" sentiment from the "Christmas Tiles" stamp set and cut it to fit into the white spaces between the wreath branches. I stamped the words in black and heat embossed them in clear to match the wreath.
Here's one last look at my card:
I really love clean and simple designs! I think its my favorite style of card making because I just love bright white space! I hope I've inspired you to look at some of your larger stamps to see if you can use them in smaller pieces. Thanks so much for stopping by!
