Greetings friends. Today I wanted to share a fall card with you. I absolutely love the season and never want to skip over it just to work on holiday cards.
For today's card, I paired the Little Orchard die with some plaid papers. I found the papers in the Christmas Plaid 6" x 6" pack also work well for fall. I also like to mix patterns, so I paired it with some polka dot paper.
The Little Orchard die has a coordinating die that is larger in case you want to create a forest scene that has depth. You can also choose to use the die on its own.
To make the card, I colored some Memory Box watercolor paper with red, orange and yellow watercolor paint and then let the paper dry completely. Next, I cut out the tree foliage with the new dies. Although watercolor by nature does not give you a lot of control. You do have some control in that you can die cut your favorite pieces. Here is a close up:
To finish the card, I popped up my tree panel and added my sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by today!
