The new collection of stitching dies creates the perfect backgrounds for fall cards. Stitched Circle Wreath adds a textured, starburst-y look to a simple Halloween card. Hi, happy weekend - Jean Okimoto here with a September Halloween Challenge idea for you.
Cut the Stylish Frame Trio circle from orange cardstock. Rub the Stitched Circle Wreath briskly with scrunched waxed paper to prep the die for easy removal of the tiny circles. Cut the circle. Stitch the circles with black crochet thread or embroidery thread. Tape the ends of the thread behind the circle with Scotch Tape.
Cut Cave Bat from the black glittered sheet in the new Frosted Glitter Pad. Cut the smaller bats - from the Haunted Entrance Dome Layer Set - from black cardstock. Cut a 1" white cardtock cirlcle. Attach the bats - use foam tape for the Cave Bat. The smallest bat will be attached inside the card with the greeting.
Stamp the greeting - from the new Halloween Pumpkin Clear Stamps and Die Set - with Onyx Black VersaFine Clair. Attach the extra bat.
The stitched details would be great for other occasions too - as fireworks for July 4th, in metallic gold or silver for the winter holidays and splashy bright colors for a birthday.
Thanks for visiting...see you again on Thursday!
