Spooky Halloween Haunted Dome Layers by Jean Okimoto

 

Spooky Halloween wishes begin with great dies like the new Haunted House and Haunted Entrance Dome Layers.  Layer the pumpkins, bats and ghosts - and even recycle an offcut for a second card.  Hi everyone, Jean Okimoto here with the first of many Halloween cards created by our Design Team as we introduce our latest collection.  

The collection incudes three Dome Layers designed to coordinate with the Snowglobe Backer from the previous release.  The Dome Layers can also be used individually or combined with the Snowglobe Backer die.  Everything is coordinated!

Cut Haunted House Dome Layer from black cardstock and the 6x6 Christmas Plaid sheet - save the plaid offcut for the orange card.  The bats, ghosts and pumpkins are part of the Haunted Entrance Dome Layer set.  Cut the bats from the 6x6 black glitter sheet in the Frosted Glitter Plaid.  Cut the pumpkins from the different orange sheets in the Frosted Glitter Pad. Cut the ghosts from heavy white cardstock.  

Tie the plaid dome layer with white twine.  Tie the black dome layer with brown twine.

Attach strips of the light orange glitter sheet behind the plaid house for creepy glowing windows. Tuck the small ghost behind the house, then attach the dome layer to a black slimline (6-¼" x 3-½") card.  Cut a heavy white cardstock circle with the ¾" Circle Basics die.  Attach the diecuts to the card.  Stamp the greeting from the new Halloween Pumpkin Clear Stamp and Die Set on bright orange cardstock with Onyx Black VersaFine Clair and dry the ink

Here's the second card. It upcycles the plaid dome layer offcut.  Stamp the greeting from the Halloween Pumpkin Clear Stamps and Die Set onto the notecard with Onyx Black. Attach strips of pale yellow-green glittered cardstock  behind the windows.  Attach the dome layer to a Persimmon Notecard.  Add the bat, ghost and pumpkin.
