Hello there! Michelle here! Today I am sharing an easy winter scene using two of the newest Collage Dies, Lamplight Tree Collage Die and Tall Fir Collage Die. Here are some easy tips when using the collage dies:
*Trim each panel the same size
*Secure the die directly to the center of the panel... this will ensure that the patterns will line up correctly
After I die cut each panel I chose some Copic Markers to add some color. For the trees I used G24, G28 and E25, E27. For the lamp post I used C7, C10.For the drifting cloud and snow shadows I used BV20 and colorless blender.
My background panel is piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock. I inked it up with some distress oxide inks in shades fossilized amber, tumbled glass and chipped sapphire. Than I splattered some white paint.
I adhered the die cut panels with foam tape. I die cut the sentiment with Special Merry Christmas Die. For a finishing touch I added some Dew Drop Glitter Glue to the "snowy parts".
Thanks for stopping by!
