Wishing You the Best

Hello everyone!  Today's card features the Chrysanthemum Field 3D-Embossing Folder.  To create this card I placed a piece of black cardstock into my folder and ran it through my die cutting machine.  I rubbed across the paper with Distress Oxide ink and used my finger to lightly blend the ink.  I dried the paper and rubbed across it with another color distress ink to deepen the color.

I placed the smallest heart from the Double Stitched Loving Heart die set on my inked paper.  Save the cut out heart to use later for another card.  I glued my background to a white card base. Next I die cut the shadow background from the Wishing Jotted Script die with white cardstock and the word Wishing from pink striped paper.  I ended up inking the word wishing with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink to deepen the color. I glued the word on top of the white shadow piece.

I stamped and white embossed the sentiment on a strip of black cardstock and matted it to a piece of white cardstock.  I glued this to my card front and adhered the word wishing above it.

That's it for this card.  I also have a picture of the card I made using the leftovers from this card.

The background paper on this card was the same paper I used to die cut the word wishing and the heart was the cut out from the first card.
