Layer a trio of Rose Blossoms on a Diagonal Strip Collage background of blended inks. Add a thoughtful greeting from the Peony Garden Corner Clear Stamps and Dies set to remind someone how wonderful they are. Hello and happy weekend - Jean Okimoto here with a flowery Garden Party Collection card for you.
An ink-blended strip of cardstock from my stash peeks through the new Diagonal Stripe Collage. It's a great die for backgrounds throughout the year - beachy blues for the summer, warm earthtones for fall and icy winter pastels for the holidays. Use it for pressure-embossing - or to diecut a cool stencil too.
Cut white cardstock with the 4-¼" x 5-½" Rectangle Basics die. Cut it with the Diagonal Stripe Collage. Stamp the greeting - from the Peony Garden Corner Clear Stamps and Dies set - with Verdant VersaFine Clair. Quickly heat-emboss it with detail clear powder.
Attach the inked strip behind the cutout. Attach the rectangle to a top-folded white A2 card.
Spritz the smoother side of Open Studio Watercolor Paper with a very light mist of water. Ink it with blended, overlapping layers of worn lipstick and picked raspberry Distress Oxides. Dry the inks, then cut three 3 each of the Rose Blossom backgrounds and detailed overlay. Assemble the blossoms and highlight the centers with squeezed lemonade Distress Oxide.
Cut two Scribble Leafy Branch Backgrounds from green cardstock. Assemble the card and accent the blossoms with Orange Sherbert Open Studio Glitter Glue. Add ¼" punched circles of the light pink glitter cardstock from the Delicate Pastel Glitter Pad.
Working on another class cards kit - GARDEN PARTY GREETINGS. Flowery, pretty, layered designs in fresh pastels and bright summer hues featuring my new favorite designs from the Garden Party 2020 Collection of Memory Box and Poppystamps.
Thanks for stopping by...have a safe and happy weekend!
