Pair the Wild Rose Stem blossoms with the Leafy Rows Art Stencil for a different look.  It’s easy – and another way to get more from the great designs in our Spring 2020 release.  Hi, Jean Okimoto here after extended blog-posting problems - let's pretend it's still Thursday and get started...

Mask the top row – and the second row of leaves on the right.  Mask the bottom leaves too.  The leaves on both sides will be trimmed later -  they don’t need masking.

Stencil the leaves on light green cardstock with mowed lawn and bundled sage Distress Oxide.  Dry the inks and trim the cardstock to 3” x 4-¼”.  Attach strips of dark green cardstock for the stems.  No matching dark green cardstock?  Just sponge more ink onto a scrap of light green cardstock and cut it into strips.

Stamp the flower tops from the Wild Stem Rose Clear Stamps and Dies Set on the smoother side of Coral Creme cardstock with Onyx Black VersaFine Clair.  Quickly emboss it with detail clear powder.  Cut it with the coordinating die and trim any bits of the stem below the flowers.  Shade it with worn lipstick Distress Oxide and Cheerful VersaFine Clair.

Prep black cardstock with the embossing powder tool.  Stamp the greeting – also from the stamp set – with VersaMark and emboss it with detail white powder.

Attach everything to an A-6 (4-1/2” x 6-1/4”)  Coral Crème card – use foam tape for the greeting.  Add Sour Apple Sparkle Glitter Glue to the flower centers.

Here’s an easy way to organize coordinating dies – attach them to curtain rings.  Tape the product info from the package onto a cardstock tab and attach it to the ring for quick reference.  Everything stays together and they’re easy to identify too - some of the shapes can be hard to identify if they go astray!
